Before I brought Chloe home, I had a clear idea of what our life would be like. She would be sweet and dainty, and maybe even a little prissy. I would put beautiful bows in her hair and she would stay pristine always. After all, this tiny white bundle of cuddles was too cute to get messy. That idea was blown to bits before we even pulled in the driveway. She had that distinct dog smell and she was more brown than white from all the mud she had been traipsing through.

Aside from the obvious dirt and gunk there also seemed to be a flea and tick infestation. 2 things I hate to see on my fur babies. When we got home I gave her a bath and immediately started her on a flea and tick treatment. I had hoped that once the parasites were gone she would feel better and stop the constant scratching. That didn’t happen. At least not until we started using Nootie’s Pet Care Products.

My little Shih Tzu couldn’t be further from dainty or pristine, meaning she loves to roll around in dirt and splash in mud puddles. I don’t have the heart to stop her from having fun so I let her do her thing at least once a week. But usually only on bath day; that way she gets to have fun and I get to have a clean pup.

We’ve been using the Nootie Anti-Itch Shampoo for bath time and it has made a world of difference. Her hair is soft and manageable and she smells amazing (the sweet pea & vanilla has an incredibly delicious smell). But the best part is the constant scratching has almost completely stopped. If I do see her scratching herself I whip out the Nooti Anti-Itch spray (again, sweet pea & vanilla - yum!) and it stops within minutes. I see the obvious signs of itch relief and the fact that Chloe doesn’t run as her way of giving Nootie 4 paws up.

If I happen to notice that dog smell I give her a quick spritz of the Nootie Daily Spritz Conditioning and Moisturizing Spray. It’s a burst of fragrance when we need it that also makes brushing her hair easy.

I took Chloe to the Farmer’s Market with me last weekend and had several people commenting on how great she smelled. Now that’s not something you hear about dogs too often, so I found it to be a big deal. I did have one person scold me for putting perfume on my dog so I quickly whipped out the travel size Daily Spritz to assure her I hadn’t. She looked at the limited ingredients list (Purified Water, SDA 40B Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Fragrance, Glycerin, Polyquaternium-7, Phenoxyethanol) and gave me a nod of approval.

I’ve also been using Nootie’s Ear Wipes and Ear Cleaner to keep Chloe’s ears in tip-top shape. I swear, her ears are cleaner than mine are!

As you can see, Nootie offers a lot in the way of pet care. I love how they work and smell, and so does Chloe. If you’re looking for a top of the line pet care line that won’t break the bank, then you should definitely check out the Nootie website. Their products come in 7 fragrances (Sweet Pea & Vanilla, Coconut Lime Verbena, Cucumber Melon, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Soft LIly Passion, Warm Vanilla Cookie, and Sweet Dreams) sure to make your pup the best smelling canine at the dog park!
