I am admittedly addicted to craft store sales. At any given time I have tons of ribbons, paints, twines, and random embellishments piling up in my craft space. I have to keep my craft supplies organized or else I can’t find anything. I’ve picked up a few nifty tricks to organize craft supplies over the years that I’m going to share today.
Organize Craft Supplies with a Cosmetic Storage Case
Right now I’m loving the Extra Large Cosmetic Storage Case from Sorbus for organizing my craft supplies. Sure, it’s a little unconventional but that makes it even better. The Extra Large Storage Case does work for holding makeup, and lots of it – so even if you’re not a crafter it’s a great buy. There are 4 organizer tiers and 8 drawers in total, which makes it perfect for organizing scrapbooking supplies, embellishments, paints, brushes, and other random craft supplies. Each organizer tier can be used individually or stacked, so it fits any space limitations.
The top organizer tier has 14 round compartments and raised sides. Because my craft supply cubby has limited height availability, I’m using the top tier tray to hold my makeup over on my vanity. I use the remaining tiers to organize my craft supplies and they are stacked and fit perfectly.
The second organizer tier has 2 extra large columns each with one drawer. I use the left drawer to hold random spools of ribbon and the right to organize my glitter and other random craft supplies.
The third organizer tier has 2 extra large columns with two drawers on each side (for a total of four drawers). I keep my most used acrylic paints in the top drawers of the middle tier. Each drawer can easily hold 8 2 oz. bottles and a few paint pens fit in as well. I use one of the bottom drawers of the third tier to hold flameless tealights and regular tealight candles. The other has my glue sticks, googly eyes, and wire spools.
The fourth organizer tier has 2 extra large drawers. I use the bottom drawer on the bottom tier to hold my scrapbooking stickers and stencils. The drawer above that is for burlap, raffia ribbon, and fabric swatches.
I love how organized my craft corner is now. I don’t have to worry about reaching over a mound of craft supplies to get something. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve knocked everything over doing that. Now, all I have to do is pull out the drawer to get what I need!
The Extra Large Cosmetic Storage Case is made of acrylic and measures 13.5” L x 16” H x 8.75” W. The acrylic is 1/4″ thick making the case incredibly sturdy. It’s available in pink and clear, both allowing you to see the contents so there’s no guesswork involved. The case is huge, so be ready to be amazed by how much it will hold. You can buy the Extra Large Cosmetic Storage Case from Sorbus’s website and be sure to check out their other storage solutions!
